    Default Old Hatchita, New Mexico

I have visited Old Hatchita on two occasions, but it was back in 1986 and 1989 when I took the photos that I submitted to the site. It was the most extensive of any abandoned site I've ever seen and am wondering what condition it is in now and can one still visit the site.

The only change is what nature does to adobe. Some of the walls are a little shorter and a few window frames have fallen. Otherwise it is still as wonderful and accessable to visit today.
